According to data from AMFI, the mutual fund industry AUM dipped marginally on MoM basis (0.67%) from Rs. 31.64 lakh crores to Rs. 31.43 lakh crores in Mar 2021. Over the year, the AUM size increased 41.17% from Rs. 22.26 lakh crores. The industry witnessed a net outflow of Rs. 29,745.41 crores during the month. Income/debt-oriented schemes (open ended) saw a net outflow of Rs. 52,528.07 crores during the month, whereas equity and equity-oriented schemes (open ended) witnessed net inflow of Rs. 9,115.12 crores.
