According to the data from the Association of Mutual Fund in India (AMFI) the asset under management (AUM) of the mutual fund industry slipped 18.24% from Rs. 27.23 lakh crore in Feb 2020 to Rs. 22.26 lakh crore in the final month of FY20 (excluding FoF scheme domestic). Annually, the same dropped 6.45% from Rs. 23.80 lakh crore in the same period last fiscal. The industry registered net outflow of Rs. 2.13 lakh crore during the month, which was majorly due outflow from liquid funds under debt-oriented schemes. Liquid funds accounted for outflow of Rs. 1.10 lakh crore in the month.
