According to a media report, MD & CEO of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has opined that Jan Dhan Model to be extended for mutual fund (MF) industry as a suitable regulatory measure. This will help in the household savings to flow into the MF industry. He said that with the launch of Jan Dhan yojana the banking system could open up 25 crore of additional accounts, a similar initiative can be introduced in MF industry too.
