AMFI: Equity inflows rise more than 70% in Jan 2020

As per data reported by Association of Mutual Fund in India (AMFI) for Jan 2020, net inflow in equity-oriented schemes (both open-ended and close-ended) stood at Rs. 7,548 crore. That compares with Rs. 4,432 crore in Dec 2019. Inflows in the equity category improved more than 70% during the month, majorly led by mid cap funds, followed by strong influx in multi cap and focused funds. Dividend yield and contra funds were the only funds under the equity category that witnessed net outflow of close to Rs. 803 crore.
