As per data reported by Association of Mutual Fund in India (AMFI) for Sep 2019, net inflow in equity-oriented schemes (both open-ended and close-ended) declined nearly 29% to Rs. 6,489 crore. That compares with Rs. 9,090.04 crore in Aug 2019. This was majorly because market participants resorted to profit booking to capitalize from the recent market rally following the corporate tax cut announcement.
