AMFI reports 3.8% decline in asset base for Sep 2019

Association of Mutual Fund in India (AMFI) reported data for Sep 2019 with the asset under management (AUM) of the mutual fund industry fell 3. 8% from Rs. 25.48 lakh crore in Aug 2019 to Rs. 24.51 lakh crore in Sep 2019. The industry registered net outflow of Rs. 1.52 lakh crore during the month, which was majorly due to massive outflows from liquid funds under debt-oriented schemes. Liquid funds accounted for an outflow of Rs. 1.41 lakh crore during the period.
