AMFI reports massive outflows from Credit Risk Funds in May

According to the monthly data released by Association of Mutual Funds in India, credit risk funds have witnessed massive outflows in the month of May. The net outflow for the month stood at Rs. 4,155.80 crore compared with Rs. 1,253.28 crore in the prior month. The recent credit default events have taken a toll on investors’ sentiments for such schemes. The downgrade in credit papers of IL&FS and DHFL prompted investors to pull out, resulting in such whopping outflows.
