SEBI issues notices to five fund houses suspecting breach of insider trading regulation

According to media reports, Securities and Exchange Board of India has issued notices to five fund houses suspecting breach of insider trading regulation. The AMCs are charged of using price-sensitive information for share purchase of Manappuram Finance in Mar 2013. The notice is dated May 29, 2019 and the market regulator has asked the fund houses to respond in 14 days.
