SEBI directs AMCs to disclose scheme performance on AMFI website

SEBI has directed mutual fund houses to disclose the performance of all mutual fund schemes on the website of the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI). Accordingly, the scheme returns vis-à-vis the benchmark return (Total Return Index) shall be disclosed in terms of CAGR for the periods of 1 year, 3 year, 5 year, 10 year and since inception. Additionally, in case of overnight fund, liquid fund, ultra-short duration fund, low duration fund, and money market fund, the scheme performance is also to be disclosed for a period of 7 days, 15 days, 1 month, 3 months and 6 months. The same shall be applicable within 30 days from date of issuance of the relevant circular (i.e. Oct 22).
