SEBI: Around 60% of regular MF investors use SIPs route to invest

According to a survey by Securities and Exchange Board of India, around 60% of regular mutual fund investors use Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs) route to invest in mutual funds. Due to the ease of investing in mutual funds through SIPs along with the diversification benefits most investors prefer this route. The survey has also mentioned that the publicity of SIPs and the MF industry over the past ten years has seen a significant increase.
