Retail investors to receive almost half of Rs. 6,000 crore CPSE ETF

As per media reports, retail investors are set to acquire almost half of the Rs. 6,000 crore in the second tranche of the Central Public Sector Enterprises - exchange traded fund (CPSE ETF). While it opened for subscription last week with the issue size of Rs. 6,000 crore, it was over-subscribed by 2.3 times, with bids worth Rs. 13,802 crore. The government has received Rs. 30,000 crore, along with ETF proceeds, from public sector undertaking (PSU) disinvestment this financial year.
