EPFO decides to invest Rs. 2,800 crore in CPSE ETF

As per media reports, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has decided to invest at least Rs. 2,800 crore or over 62% of the original issue size of the further fund offer, following the government’s announcement of the launch of its second tranche sale of the Central Public Sector Enterprises exchange-traded fund. This is the first time EPFO would be participating in the government’s divestment plans, while the government aims to raise Rs. 4,500 crore, stretchable up to Rs. 6,000 crore.
